O DVD será lançado internacionalmente no dia 18 de outubro e na América do Norte no dia seguinte, via Universal Music. Além dos shows das quatro bandas, o DVD trará cenas de bastidores e entrevistas com os músicos.
“The Big Four: Live From Sofia, Bulgaria” estará disponível em DVD duplo, Blu-Ray e também em edição limitada contendo dois DVDs, cinco CDs com todas as músicas dos shows, livreto de 24 páginas, poster, fotos das bandas e uma palheta com o símbolo da turnê, a mesma usada por James Hetfield e que ilustra a capa do DVD.
